Bridging the Divide: The Power of Virtual Tutoring

How do we turn a digital connection into a lifeline? In this high-impact 25-minute session, Cynthia will take you inside the mission of School on Wheels. Since 1993, their organization has been the only group in Southern California dedicated exclusively to the educational needs of students experiencing homelessness, and today, they are pioneering new ways to bridge the digital divide.

Who They Are: How their core values—Trust, Integrity, and Innovation—drive their commitment to providing consistent, trauma-informed support to students facing the instability of homelessness.

What They Do: An inside look at their Digital Learning Initiative, where they provide the tools, internet access, and one-on-one virtual mentorship necessary for academic success.

The Impact: Actionable strategies from their front lines that you can use to foster human connection, improve student engagement, and drive measurable outcomes in your own virtual programs.

Join this session to see how School on Wheels are shrinking the learning gap and ensuring that every student has the stability they need to thrive, no matter where their "classroom" is located.
