About Cynthia Marie Gonzalez Lopez

With over two years of dedicated service as the Senior Volunteer Engagement Coordinator at School on Wheels, Cynthia Gonzalez Lopez is passionate about empowering students experiencing homelessness through education and support. Her role involves recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to ensure they have a meaningful impact on the lives of the children we serve. A key aspect of her work is personally matching tutors with their students to foster strong, supportive relationships that enhance learning experiences.  She believes in the power of community and collaboration, and is especially thankful for the collaboration she has with BigBlueButton, which has greatly enriched our virtual tutoring sessions. She strives to create an inclusive environment where every family member, student, and volunteer feels valued and inspired to make a difference.
